Alvaro, or Al, trained at Le Cordon Blue in San Francisco in 2004-2005 receiving his AOS Degree in culinary Arts.  He also studied Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management at San Francisco City College in 2007. Al brings a real passion for preparing high quality dishes combined with attention to detail and presentation. Al has worked at a number of fine dining, Michelin Star restaurants, including The Village Pub (Woodside, Ca), Madera Restaurant at Rosewood (Menlo Park, Ca), and Alexander’s Steakhouse the Sea (Palo alto, Ca). Al has worked at The Striped Pig since 2016.
